Flowers!

Here I hope to share the beauty and the crazyness that is the Tet Flower Market.  There are many beautiful plants and flowers.  This is even bigger than Christmas tree sales at home.....sorry Steve.

           The cactus are important because they keep away evil spirits.

      These are dragon fruit (thanh long).  The inside is white with black (mau trang va mau den) specks and is tasty.

     As you can see flowers are very important to the Vietnamese people for celebrating the newness of spring and new life.
